Experience Requirements:
-Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.
-Minimum 5 years previous work experience as a cashier and one year experience as lead cashier/supervisor preferred.
-Ability to read, write and understand English.
-Ability to organize time.
-Ability to communicate and get along well with others.
-Willing to be cross - trained within the Department.
Competencies / Job Duties
- Reconciles all cash drawers and ensure deposits are accurate and secure.
-Works the cash register during shift times.
-Ensures cash registers are set up and stocked appropriately prior to start of shift.
FOOD SERVICES FOCUS:
- Supervises all cashiers /cafeteria attendants to ensure that all services times, department standards/procedures are upheld.
-Ensures all areas of the cafeteria and dinning room are cleaned appropriately, and is stocked before each meal.
-Ensures that adequate quantities and types of condiments are stocked in the cafeteria prior to each meal.
PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION FOCUS:
-Ensure that parking booth is kept neat at all times.
-Assist maintenance custodial with traffic control as needed during peak hours.
-Check all parking equipment prior to start and end of shift.
-Report all malfunctions of equipment to parking management staff.
