KEY DUTIES
1. Greets customers in polite and friendly manner.
2. Obtains items requested and packages if required.
3. Serves cold drinks using drink dispensing machine. Serves coffee or tea from coffee making machine. Presses lids onto cups and makes secure.
4. May prepare soup, sandwiches or salads as necessary.
5. Totals customer’s bill on cash/sales register receives payment and makes change, count change back to customer.
6. Stocks shelves, counter, tables, cabinets, refrigerator and machines.
7. Finishes donuts with various fillings and toppings to meet customer demand. Stocks shelves with finished product.
8. Makes coffee and heats water for tea.
9. Cleans tables, counters, and racks, show cases with brushes, towels and sanitary solutions.
10. Removes and records amount of cash in register as designated time periods.
11. Monitors usage of cups, bags, plates, utensils, napkins, coffee, soup, lunch meat etc. May place order with supervisor.
12. Answers telephone and forwards call or takes message.
13. May take customer orders and fill orders.
14. May “tray up” donuts on trays or baskets.
15. Reports any customer complaint or suggestion to retail sales Manager.
16. Wears company issued hat, apron, and name tag.
17. May box or bag day old donuts for sale or return to bakery.
18. Operates dishwasher to ensure all mugs and silverware are clean and sanitized.
19. Perform any and all other duties that may be assigned by Retail Sales Manager.

WORKPLACE SAFETY
1. Comply with all safety rules.
2. Report all safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
3. Use proper lifting procedures to lift with legs and not back.
4. Rotate through available positions to utilize different muscle groups and prevent repetitive motion disorders.
GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practice)
1. Keep work area and supplies clean.
2. Follow GMP's as outlined in the Handbook
GENERAL PERFORMANCE
1. Basic language and mathematical skills
2. Polite, friendly attitude to deal pleasantly with customers.
3. Normal working conditions require standing for operation of cash register, walking to obtain items ordered and flexibility to package or bag items, stooping or kneeling and reaching to acquire supplies in order to replenish depleted stock items.
4. 18 years of age required for operation of mixers and ovens.
5. Notify bakery manager before materials run low.
6. Make all efforts to minimize waste.
7. Must be willing to upgrade skills as necessary.
8. When there is a space between customers clean your general area first then helps others.
