About Eating Disorder Recovery Specialists

Eating Disorder Recovery Specialists (EDRS) is a nationwide treatment and recovery support program that uniquely delivers assistance where our clients need it the most: in their own environments. Our dedicated team collaborates with clients remotely to seamlessly bridge the gap between treatment and real-life challenges.

In addition to comprehensive case management, nutrition support, and psychotherapy, the EDRS Intensive Outpatient program offers therapeutic meal support, skills groups, exposures, and coaching.

Direct client hours: [60–65%]

• Assist program therapists in facilitating virtual group services, skills and process groups, and other Therapeutic Support services for IOP clients.

• Facilitate meal support groups within a nurturing environment allowing clients to reach their recovery goals. 

• Conduct new client orientation, as requested by administration leadership.

• Ensure proper documentation of all services rendered within 24 hours.

• Collaborate with clients' care teams as needed.

• Attend treatment team meetings, supervision, and ongoing trainings as indicated

• Fulfill other duties and responsibilities that are reasonable and consistent with such a position, as assigned from time to time.
