Salary: $16.38-$27.07 per hour 5% special skills stipend.

Length of Work Year: School year, 180 work days per year (192 paid days/year), Monday-Friday, 6.0 hours per day, 8:40am - 3:10pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-An AA degree (or equivalent) or passage of proficiency examination in compliance with Education Code and No Child Left Behind Act.
-Experience working with individuals with special education needs in an organized setting.
-Sign language skills.*
-Valid California driver’s license.
-First Aid and CPR certification (provided by SLOCOE) must be obtained within 130 days of employment.
