General Statement of Duties:

Under the leadership of the ED/Program Manager, Program Liaison is responsible in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the LEI program including, but not limited to: outreach, recruitment, and retention of Worcester's youth. Candidate must be a supportive, willing, positive, and energetic participant in the implementation of the outcome measurement system.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate evaluation, community engagement and communications work in the LEI program.

2. Responsible for the engagement of Latino community leaders and other work supporting community partners participating in vaccination promotion. Maintain and nurture a positive youth development culture.

3. Facilitate collaboration with the Outreach Team Coordinator on assessment and data collection activities, providing feedback from outreach staff about their interactions with community members.

4.Communicate and plan with the LEI Administrators on a regular basis, keeping them informed of all activity within the program relating to logistics, participants, staff and partners.

5.Maintain accurate records of monitoring and evaluation tools, attendance, directory, and assessments for all participants.

6. Meet weekly with the LEI Administrators and program team to coordinate staffing, enrollment changes and curriculum modifications.

7. Provide up-to-date monthly program highlights such as photos, success stories, etc. to Digital Artist for social media posting.

8. Ensure the appropriate implementation and coordination of field trips, guest speakers, and optional program offerings (Family Academies).

9. Participate in required trainings, workshops, conferences or other aspects of professional development including funder sponsored events.

10. Serve as a mandated reporter, reporting any suspicion of child abuse or neglect in collaboration with the Executive Director and any compliance procedures for follow-through.

11.Other duties as assigned, including supporting other staff and representing the organization upon assignment.


Job Requirements:


Required Qualifications:

1. Experience with Microsoft Office applications and record keeping.

2. Ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences, both in writing and verbally.

3. Strong work ethic and commitment to positive youth development.

4. Success in prioritizing and meeting multiple demands and deadlines.

5. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to work collaboratively, manage own work and time, and be accountable for performance.

6. Alignment and agreement with the vision, mission, and values of the Latino Education Institute.

7. Ability to work some evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree and/or 3 year of experience working with persons from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.

2. Reliable access to transportation.

3. Bilingual in Spanish preferred
