Mercy Regional Medical Center is Hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician - PRN Near Ville Platte, LA
Responsible for accuracy of examinations and analysis performed in the Clinical Laboratory. Must understand the limitations of laboratory equipment and apparatus. Must assume the responsibilities of an MLT and perform all duties assigned to him/her.
Education: Graduate of an MLT program or passed an MLT (CLT) exam after having fulfilled the requirements for the exam.
CPR Certified
Experience: None required but must be eligible for licensure. Skills: Must be able to operate Laboratory equipment after a period of training in the laboratory at MRMC.
Must be proficient at phlebotomy; good written and verbal communication skills; must be able to work under physical and mental stress.
Licensure: Current license as an MLT (CLT) or higher by the State of Louisiana.
