A licensed acupuncturist to provide high quality, efficient patient care, while maintaining internal and external patient satisfaction. The position will be responsible for growing the acupuncture caseload both from internal and external referrals. Looking for either full time or part time.

Essential Job Responsibilities for an Acupuncturist:

• Provides and directs patient care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all federal and state guidelines.
• Evaluate patients’ needs and establish effective treatment plans. Manage and coordinate these treatment plans and adjust accordingly.
• Manage and coordinate the supervision of treatment plans.
• Provide acupuncture treatment pursuant to the New Jersey scope of practice under N.J.A.C 13:35-9 which includes but is not limited to: acupressure, cupping, gua sha scarping techniques, tuina, massage and therapeutic activities.
• Provide feedback to the other medical providers when the patient is a co-treat when applicable.
• Participate in all facility processes and services.
• Show effective management of treatment and non-treatment activities.
• Perform necessary clinical documentation to meet facility, state and federal requirements.
• Maintain complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet facility, state and federal requirements.
• Participates in all in-service training programs and mandatory staff meetings as requested.
• Discuss the patient’s treatment plan and progress with the patients.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education:A New Jersey Acupuncture license, Masters degree from an accredited acupuncture/Chinese medicine school.

Experience:Minimum two (2) years of experience in acupuncture, preferably experience with other specialities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
