Description
Children & Families of Iowa is in search of qualified candidate to fill the role of an Event Coordinator. This is a part-time non-exempt, in person at our main location and in the community work, 20-28 hours per week with more hours available prior to and after the signature events. The successful candidate with under the general direction of the CDO/VP of Development and Communications and is responsible for the assigned revenue generation, organization, coordination and execution of special events and event related fundraising for the Foundation of Children & Families of Iowa.

Requirements
A bachelor's degree and one to three years of experience in special event planning or meeting planning is required. Raiser's Edge software, event management, non-profit experience preferred but not required. Must be a self-motivator, organized, enthusiastic, have a deep commitment to the philosophy of the agency and exercise personal finesse.
