Job Summary
Provide administrative support for the staff and students of the Bridging the Gap program.
Essential Duties
Responsible for greeting incoming visitors and students, answering phone calls and email inquiries, and processing incoming and outgoing program mail.
Assist in the creation of recruitment/application packets, background checks, and requisitions.
Submit purchase orders, travel reimbursement, and other supply orders.
Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the Scholar database.
Maintain program bulletin board and marketing materials.
Assist with recruitment events, Child Development reception, orientations, and other program events.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to organize daily work procedures and perform duties under one's own initiative with supervisory guidance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with others.
Experience with MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent education in Child Development.
One year of administrative office experience.
