We are seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities & Duties for Maintenance Technician:

• Facilitate office/residential moves (e.g., moving client furnishings, belongings from one location to another)
• Identify and ensure completion of repairs within all agency office locations and residential homes as directed by Procurement department
• Handle minor repairs (e.g., change batteries in smoke detectors, plunge toilets, replace air filters)
• Light patchwork, painting and dry wall repairs.
• General plumbing: repair/replace faucets, fix leaks, and toilets.
• Electrical repairs and maintenance: light bulbs, ballasts, outlets, switches
• Exterior building repairs: decking, windows, doors
• Furniture/equipment assembly
• Respond to residents and management request for maintenance services
• Move office/residential furnishings from site to site and/or storage
• Monitor equipment and supply inventory
• Keep logs and report on procedures and daily activities
• Ensure health and safety inspections to prevent risks
• Perform any additional duties as assigned
• Comply with all Human Rights Regulations.
• Attend and satisfactorily complete all required in-service trainings

Qualifications and Skills for Maintenance Technician:

• High School diploma/GED.
• Three years of relative work experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable DMV record at the time of employment and continuously, thereafter.
