The Bennington Rutland Supervisory Union is seeking applications for Substitute Bus and Van Drivers. This position will have the responsibility of a designated bus or van route in the morning and afternoon of school days with the possibility of additional driving throughout the day. Any offers of employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a background check, fingerprinting, and physical. If you are interested in this role, we are more than willing to train the right candidate as long as they meet the below minimum qualifications. Compensation starts at $20.00 per hour for Substitute Van Drivers and $21.00 per hour for Substitute Bus Drivers holding a valid CDL. Responsibilities:Transport children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons.Maintain a clean and mechanically-sound bus at all timesObey all traffic lawsPerform pre/post trip inspections of the bus or vehicleEnsure the safety of students at all timesAny questions?
