Position: Part-Time Senior Health & Safety Professional Location

EnSafe, an employee-owned global environmental consulting and engineering firm, is seeking a part-time senior-level Health and Safety (H&S) Professional to provide consulting services for our clients. Local and domestic travel is required. Weekly workload may range from zero to 40 hours per week.

This position is ideal for recently retired senior H&S professionals who may want to work part-time following their previous careers.

What We Are Looking for: As a Health and Safety Professional at EnSafe, you will play a vital role in a dynamic and collaborative environment that encourages professional development and limitless passion for our work.

What You Will Be Doing

•Providing consulting advice to industrial and commercial companies including aerospace, chemicals, manufacturing, pulp and paper, automotive, etc.

•Conducting safety and health compliance audits, hazard and risk assessments, H&S training, and other safety support services.

•Providing professional consulting services relating to health and safety management systems (OSHA VPP, ISO 45001), process safety management, confined space, machine guarding, lockout tagout, and others.

Qualifications

•B.S. degree in environmental health, safety, or related discipline.

•20 or more years of related experience.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

•Initiative, attention to detail, analytical thinking, accountability, and commitment to quality and accuracy.

•Professional certifications such as CSP and/or CIH are preferred.
