Business Function

The Shareowner Transaction Specialist will be responsible for completing shareholder transactions for Lost Securities, Ownership Change, Plan DRS and Data Maintenance that have SEC deadlines and Client specific SLA's.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

This is a part-time, hybrid role with an average of 3 days onsite

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Opening and prepping mail to be imaged into our processing system

• Creating and indexing work items once scanned

• Processing securities transactions

• Assisting with miscellaneous operations duties to meet SLA's

• Works under minimal supervision following established procedures and exercises some judgement within guidelines to complete transactions

• Performs a variety of operational tasks for complex securities or cash relate transactions that require extensive knowledge of unit functions and systems.

• Differentiating, processing, and reconciling transactions; researching inquiries, reviewing time sensitive and/or complex documents

• Provides back-up to other desks and may provide training to junior level staff

• Maintaining a high level of accuracy despite complex transactions and periods of high volume

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviors:

• Experience in an operational environment

• Prior Transfer Agent or Securities Industries experience a plus

• Ability to multi task and meet deadlines while working in a fast paces, high volume environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to work independently, proactively, innovatively, and creatively while exercising sound judgement

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, with demonstrated capability in Word and Excel

Experience

• 3 years of experience in on or a combination of the following: customer service, operations, financial services, accounting, business processing, analytical, financial, clerical, or call center.

Education

• High-school Diploma or equivalent

Compensation

• $20.00 per hour

Part-time M-F 4 hour days anytime between 7-5
