Mad River Community Hospital is Hiring a Traveling Phlebotomist (Part Time) Near Arcata, CA

Mad River Hospital seeks a Certified Phlebotomist to travel to healthcare facilities and assist in the operation of the laboratory by obtaining specimens, accessioning laboratory tests in LIS, preparing specimens for transport, and maintaining supplies. Must have California CPT Certification. This is part time, 5 hours a day, 4 days a week to start. Would like a start date to be 3/18/24.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· California CPT required.

· Prior phlebotomy experience.

· Must have own car and insurance.

· Must have a valid Driver License in good standing.

· Computer proficiency.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Reliability and maturity.

· A positive attitude and the ability to get along with coworkers, staff and patients.

· Comfortable with working independently.

Mileage will be reimbursed. Wages are based on prior related experience.
