This is a PRN (As Needed), Mid Shift, Paramedic Opportunity supporting Sahuarita Hospital!
Carries out therapeutic measures for patients in the Emergency Department while working with the emergency team as directed by the Administrative Medical Director or online qualified physician (per R9-25-204, 205), and ED Nursing Leadership.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Required: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
Preferred: Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training.
Experience:
Required: One year experience in a pre-hospital setting.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required:
AZ state CEP certification -OR- National EMS Certification as a Paramedic from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications
