Arizona Autism is looking for individuals to provide care to children and adults with developmental disabilities. Our Direct Care Workers provide the care needed for our members so they can live a more independent life. Our clients needs can be big or small, but the feeling our caregivers leave with is always REWARDING! The needed hours vary and can be tailored to your needs, with the flexibility to work as few or as many shifts desired.
We have a client in need of a provider who is in the zip code 85283. This client is a 21 year old male who has aggression behaviors (e.g. hair pulling, kicking, scratching, biting, and head banging), so the guardians would like a provider who is comfortable and experienced in that area. Guardians are looking for a provider able to lift and block 200-250 pounds. The services that you would be providing during the client's schedule would be Attendant Care. The schedule of the client in need is provided below:
Monday-Friday 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Saturdays 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Attendant Care: Duties include providing total care to member for basic daily living needs such as transferring from bed to wheel care, bathing, clothing, feeding, and more. Member will fully depend on their provider during scheduled shifts and enjoy the friendly presence!
Provider Requirements:
- First Aid
- CPR
- Article 9
** TRAINING PROVIDED AND COST COVERED FOR CERTIFICATION IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ALREADY**
- Level one Fingerprint Clearance Level one Fingerprint Clearance Card
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
