POSITION: Campus Police Officer - Part-time

LOCATION: NDSCS-Wahpeton

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Part-time - non-benefited

JOB SUMMARY: The Campus Police Officer is responsible for the safety and security of students, staff/faculty, and visitors to NDSCS; enforcing all North Dakota criminal and traffic laws as well as protection of NDSCS property, etc.

Minimum Requirements

* Must support the mission, vision, and values of NDSCS

* Firearm qualification

* Knowledge of emergency vehicle operation

* Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills

* Knowledge of computer and word processing programs

* Ability to function in a stressful environment

* Knowledge of North Dakota Criminal and Traffic laws

* ND Peace officer license or ability to be licensed at time of hire

Preferred Qualifications

* AA or AAS degree in criminal justice or related field

* Two or more years' experience
