Our WIN Waste Innovations facility is currently looking for a Scale Operator. This position is responsible for determining the correct gross, tare and net weights on fuel deliveries and proper sampling for moisture content on all loads of processed fuel and logs delivered to or shipped from the facility. The normal workweek is 20-30 hours and may include working every other Saturday, as well as some additional overtime depending on volume of fuel deliveries. The ideal candidate would have excellent organizational skills with ability to perform basic arithmetic calculation; strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to operate efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced and diversified work environment, basic typing/computer skills are necessary to operate the computerized scale system, basic knowledge of safety and standard operating procedures, recognize safety hazards and communicate effectively and be able to operate basic safety equipment, i.e. fire extinguisher, fire hoses; take part in safety meetings to achieve required training in Hazcom, Hazmat, fire suppression, First Aid, CPR, hearing conservation, and all other safety programs.
