The University Store has multiple summer positions available for Summer University Store Assistants. Essential Functions Interacts with customers by providing assistance on the sales floor, answering the telephone, fulfilling website orders and checking guest out via the cash register. Assists with store inventory process. Assists with receiving merchandise and textbooks. Provides detailed cleaning of the store and storage areas. Other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM PAY: $13.00 WORK SCHEDULE: This is a seasonal position with expected work hours from Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch. Some Saturdays required. Minimum Qualifications: Familiarity with office setting, ability to use personal computer, and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office products is required. Must be able to understand and follow oral and written directions. Must have good organizational skills and be an effective communicator. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently. Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
