CHCW is seeking 2 part time Certified Interpreters to become members of our Language Instruction and Dedicated Education of Residents for the Latinx Community (LIDERES-LC) through the Central Washington Family Medicine Residency Program. You will work on site during resident clinical encounters for patients with Spanish as their preferred language to support residents who have intermediate level Spanish skills. You will interpret for the providers and/or the patients as needed. You will have the opportunity to work on other translation projects for the organization and residency when not working alongside residents in clinic.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED is required
• Bilingual Spanish/English is required
• Valid Driver’s license and auto insurance is required
• Certified Interpreter is required
• Formal teaching experience in Spanish and/or in English as a second language (ESL) strongly desired
• Pre-employment drug screen is required
