Lawrence Family Development, Inc. is looking for Part-Time After-School Program Assistants to join our team. This position works in the SISU after-school program with youth, ages 13 through 16 years old. This position provides a great opportunity for someone looking to make a difference in the community. Below are the responsibilities of this position:

Responsibilities:

• Mentor and supervisor youth
• Manage internal outreach
• Maintain policy and procedure regarding critical incident reporting
• Maintain daily log of youth attending

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekdays from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, 2 to 4 times a week
• Strong comfort level in approaching youth at different levels of social-emotional growth
• Ability to work sensitively and effectively in a multicultural setting 
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Comfort working within a team-oriented, professional environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Valid driver’s license and has own transportation
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
• Understanding of urban culture and proven-risk youth preferred

Hours: Weekdays, 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, 2 to 4 times a week

Salary Range: $20.00/hour, depending on experience (non exempt)
