As a large physician-owned group, we are dedicated to helping other organizations meet their behavioral health goals. By proactively addressing provider burnout with supportive administrative services, IPC creates a balance between the needs of providers and partners.

We deeply value providers who tirelessly serve inpatient psychiatric hospitals, psychiatric residential programs, PHP/IOP programs, community mental health centers, federally qualified health centers, inpatient med-surg hospitals, critical access hospitals, correctional facilities, and skilled/long-term nursing facilities. Our providers see all age groups of patients and have experience treating a wide variety of mental health disorders.
IPC is devoted to recruiting and retaining passionate and mission-oriented providers who serve our community. Our behavioral health management group serves clients across the lifespan, utilizing telepsychiatry and on-site services in a variety of practice areas.
Our care team is composed of 75 providers, including:
- Board-certified/board-eligible adult, child, and adolescent & addiction psychiatrists.
- Board certified psychiatric nurse practitioners.
- Master’s level and clinically licensed therapists.
- Psychologists and neuropsychologists for specialized testing and competency assessments.
IPC care providers have over 100 years of combined clinical experience, with skill sets covering a full spectrum of psychiatric disorders and mental health and substance use conditions through strong community partnerships. Our providers are diversely experienced, coming from all walks of life and backgrounds, familiar with home-based and onsite treatment, and devoted to serving our rural and urban settings.
We retain over 95% of our care providers and 97% of our healthcare partners, allowing for continuity of care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Come be part of our amazing team!We are currently seeking a PT Weekend Psychiatrist for an Adult Inpatient Unit in Kansas City, MO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric care on the psychiatric adult inpatient unit.
- Instructs patients on specific treatment.
- Completes hospital discharge summaries within allotted periods.
- Provides appropriate documentation to substantiate third party billing efforts.
Schedule:
- Minimum of one weekend per month (both Saturday and Sunday).

- Ability to focus on the patient - not office management, including credentialing, licensure, billing, and collections.
What do you bring to the table?
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist
- Active Medical License in the State of Missouri.
- Comfortable with all ages.
