Position Description

TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for several contract Special Education Teachers for the 2022-2023 extended school year. ESY work with a possibility of 23/24. Not guaranteed yet but district tends to renew.

• Location: Fleetwood, PA
• Duration: July 5, 2023 - August 3, 2023
• Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
• Full or Part Time: Part Time
• Schedule: 15 hours/week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 7: 30 am to 12:30 pm
• Grade/Age Levels: Elementary and Middle School
• Caseload description: Planning is done with materials; the teacher would need to teach off of lessons planned and note progress for goals in IEP on progress report sheets.

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for a Special Education (SPED) Teacher:

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in the state of practice
