About the Orthopedic Clinic

Outstanding specialty care right here at our main campus in Staples is a point of pride for Lakewood Health System. A growing team, Lakewood orthopedic providers partner with best-in-class orthopedic specialists, Twin Cities Orthopedics to care for our patients in the clinic.

Mission for Ortho Scribe

The scribe will ensure accurate, detailed records are entered for each patient visit to the orthopedic clinic so our physicians and care teams can best provide quality, personalized health care.

Position Summary

As a scribe, you will take dictation from providers to ensure accurate details of patient histories, exams, procedures, lab results and more are in our electronic health record system. Paid training on medical terminology and electronic health record provided for selected candidate if required.

Position Type

Part-Time; 56 hours every two weeks

Employee-focused scheduling with hours available between: 8:30a-5pm

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Willingness to complete paid training in scribe duties upon hire

Ideal Candidate

• Is detail-oriented
• Thrives in a team setting
• Focuses on building positive connections with patients and assigned clinic team
• Communicates proactively with care team
• Is familiar with medical terminology will train if needed
• Has experience with Epic Electronic Health Record will train if needed
