JOB OPPORTUNITY
Seasonal Part Time - EVENT SUPERVISOR - COMMUNITY EVENTS SOUND TECHNICIAN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the sound equipment set-up, operation and tear-down, assists with the maintenance and repairs of sound equipment, assist with special events, cultural arts programs and other special recreational services, maintains positive interaction with public under the general direction of a full-time staff member.
EDUCATION:
High School education or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; some college preferred.
EXPERIENCE / SPECIAL SKILLS:
Incumbent must possess working knowledge of sound equipment operation and strong public relations, communication and organizational skills. Must be creative, resourceful and flexible; must be self-motivated, energetic and patient.
LICENSE / CERTIFICATION:
CPR and First Aid or ability to obtain, valid driver's license required.
HOURS:
Part-time hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. 3 - 6 hours a week May- August. Additional hours may be available throughout the year. Must be able to work flexible hours.
SALARY:
$15.95 per hour.
