Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks a part-time Teacher of Performing Arts, Lower and Middle Schools beginning September 1, 2024.
The Trinity School seeks an experienced and collaborative music educator and conductor to teach beginning woodwinds and beginning concert band courses in Grades 4-6 and a beginning Jazz Band course in the Upper School. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three years of teaching experience, a professional level of skill on their primary instrument, a love for working with students of all ages, and a wide range of musical ability. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a desire to work collaboratively, and a commitment to professional development and a sense of humor.
A Master’s degree or higher in music education or performance is preferred.

Preferred experience includes proficiency with music notation software such as Finale, Sibelius, or Dorico.

Salary range: $69,200 - $165,700 (salary based upon experience)
