Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions is Hiring a Part-Time Phlebotomist Near Holmes, NY
We are seeking a part time Phlebotomist to work in a nursing facility for a client located near Holmes, NY. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood from patients and delivering it to the lab for testing. You must have at least 6 months of previous experience working in a lab, hospital or medical office setting.
Job duties include:
- Collecting blood samples from patients
- Properly labeling all vials with names and dates
- Working with the patient to determine the best method for drawing blood
- Performing EKG and spirometry on adult and pediatric patients
- Practicing infection control standards
The successful Phlebotomist should have:
- A current Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant certification
- At least 6 months of previous experience working in a lab, hospital or medical office setting
- Basic computer skills
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
This is a part time position, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 6am-10am. They are looking for someone who can be flexible with their schedule if need be. Pay rate is $22 per hour.
