NORCAL Ambulance is Hiring a Warehouse Supply Specialist (PT) Near Sacramento, CA

Warehouse Supply Specialist - Part Time.
Norcal has a need for a Warehouse Supply Specialist. This position is Part Time. Starting pay is $18.00/hour.
Basic Functions:
  • Responsible for warehouse equipment and inventory.
  • Maintains supply storage as well as general equipment operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensures supply inventory stock levels are adequate and resupplies stations with equipment and inventory. Also processes inbound and outbound shipments, utilizes the inventory control program to maintain supplies, and ensure safe storage and organization of supplies.
  • Audit supplies to maintain inventory
  • Perform expiration checks on medical supplies
  • Troubleshoot supply issues
  • Develop supply orders
  • Build and maintain medical supply kits
  • Utilize supply inventory software
  • Oversee inventory movement between stations to maintain stock levels
  • Lift supplies and inventory
  • Perform vehicle equipment and supply checks as needed
  • Perform warehouse operations
  • Stock and prepare ambulances for service
  • Fill and maintain medical gas systems as needed
  • Perform asset maintenance and repair
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility listed above and be a certified paramedic or registered nurse with field experience. Employee must be driver trained. Employee must be familiar with medications and controlled substance procedures, and have knowledge and skills required to handle sensitive documents, emergency medical supplies, inventory controls and storage and computer basics.
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Preferred: Healthcare IT, Emergency Medicine, or Medical Supply experience.
Language Ability:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports, logs, correspondence and to speak effectively before groups of customers, vendors or employees.
Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certifications/Licenses:
  • Valid California Driver’s License and DMV Driving Record in good standing in accordance to insurance company standards.
Equipment:
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must use a variety of equipment including gurney, wheelchairs, and other medical and ambulance related devices.
