Overview:

Are you looking for a part-time opportunity and have an HR background? We are looking for an HR Administrative Assistant to help on a part-time basis from September through November and assist with the annual open enrollment period. Please see positions details below:

  • This is a temporary position beginning on 9/8 and will go through November 30.
  • The hours would be approximately 3 days/week, for 4 hours a day, between the hours of 9am - 4pm. The hourly commitment would be approximately 12 - 15 hours per week.
  • The pay for the position would be $20/hr and would be paid weekly!
  • We are looking for someone with strong administrative and organizational skills, with a strong preference for those with an HR background.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare standardized benefit information packets, including letters for employees that terminate employment with the District.
  • Track and report annual listing of retired employees by job category for various departments.
  • Process all necessary paperwork for resignations.
  • Input information of employees who separate from the district into 3rdparty COBRA administrator's system.
  • Complete all Premium Assistance applications for PSERS.
  • Complete Medicare verification forms for retirees
  • Complete PSERS Job Description forms
  • Completion of forms received from Family Division
  • Terminate coverage for Employees in E-Benefits online system
  • Filing
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma and 2 years related experience required.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • HR experience highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
