JOB
The Professional Lab Assistant, Kinesiology and Human Performance is a part-time, 4.5 month position. The Provide assistance in the laboratory and/or field setting with the instruction of skills required for the Wellness and Exercise Science students and is responsible to Department Chair, Kinesiology and Human Performance, and Instructional Deans.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Primary ResponsibilitiesMeeting all scheduled classes for the full class period.Informing students of student learning outcomes relating to the skills being observed.Motivating students by a professional, responsive, and cordial attitude to perform at their highest level.Maintaining an atmosphere of dignity and propriety conducive to learning in the classroom, lab and on the field. Working cooperatively with other members of the faculty and staff in an effort to contribute to overall institutional effectiveness.Utilizing talents, academic background, and strong personal qualities to serve the best interests of students and Tyler Junior College.
