Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist with quarterly financial consolidation process, including consolidation general ledger account postings.
  • Posting various accounting entries into the ERP system monthly.
  • Maintenance of general ledger and reporting for small corporate subsidiaries.
  • Assistance with preparing quarterly internal reporting deliverables.
  • Assistance in the preparation of U.S. government census reporting and Commercial Activity Tax returns.
  • Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Accounting for U.S. business units and provide depreciation reports to finance leaders.
  • Distribute financial information to the tax department, as requested.
  • Special projects and ad-hoc requests.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
  • Good understanding of US GAAP including debit and credit accounting theory
  • Ability to communicate and work well with all levels within the organization
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytic skills
Preferred Education/Training/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting desired;
  • Previous accounting experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in financial principles and practices
Computer Skills:
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Advanced level proficiency with Excel preferred
  • SAP Finance/Accounting Modules or other ERP accounting experience desired
Availability:
  • Part-time role (24 hours per week)
