We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Float/Para Educator to join our team. As a Float/Para Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting staff for their lunch breaks and assist teachers at planning time with the hours of 10am-3pm.

Our floater/para educators are expected to:

• Maintain a safe environment for children
• Provide quality care and attention for children
• Encourage children to develop self-confidence and self-esteem
• Support children’s development through positive interactions with other children and adults
• Provide support to students with diverse learning needs, both in individual and group settings
• Maintain a professional classroom environment
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Prior experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred
• Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times, including maintaining confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred (1-2 years) but not required. We will train.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. We will train the right teacher!
• Reliable transportation is preferred but not required. We will provide your own school supplies.
