Simlog Solutions is a growing 3PL delivery provider specializing in last mile home delivery solutions for some of the nation's leading retailers in home furnishings. We currently operate 30 delivery trucks each day delivering to 1,000’s of customers each week. Due to the company’s dynamic growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic operations specialist who is self-driven and values the importance employee satisfaction.

Job Responsibility Overview

• Generate reports on company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Support management in achieving business goals.
• Ensure completion of all necessary paperwork before employees start.
• Collects and organizes specified data from various sources, which may include departmental heads and subject matter experts, surveys of reports and forecasts, personal observations, budgetary documentation, and other appropriate resources.
• Analyzes collected data for trends and outliers with an eye toward improving the organization’s efficiency, profits, or other specified parameters.
• Identifies potential strategies and offers suggestions to resolve issues identified by data analysis.
• Creates detailed reports of data and analytical findings and clearly communicates them to management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Oversees telephone services, email correspondence, and mail distribution.
• Maintains records, documentation, and files, particularly more complex or sensitive files such as employee files.

Required Education & Experience

• Strong computer skills required with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization skills and detail orientated.
• Ability to multitask in a customer focused environment.
• Ability to manage time effectively.

Preferred Knowledge, Experience or Interests

• Microsoft suite applications
• Social media
• Previous experience in work environments that required strong attention to detail.
• Writing communications for large audiences.
