Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in all stages of litigation, from case inception to trial preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation proceedings
- Organize and maintain case files and documents
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and motions
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts for case preparation
- Manage discovery processes, including document collection and review
- Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, and trials
- Assist in trial preparation and attend trials to provide support
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification preferred
- Proven experience as a Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent administrative skills including interviewing witnesses and managing legal case files
- Proficiency in project management to handle multiple cases simultaneously
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw
- Ability to perform clerical tasks like proofreading legal documents
- Experience with legal case management software is a plus
