Northstar School is small, college-prep, private school in Arlington, Texas with a student-centered approach to education. We exist to provide a unique educational experience focused on equipping students with a superior skill set and collection of real-world experiences, resulting in young adults capable of successfully leading in a global marketplace where the velocity of change is ever increasing. Northstar´s student population is currently just over 30 students who are all enrolled in a challenging curriculum that blends core classes with the fine arts.
Northstar employs more than adozen full and part-time faculty, many with post graduate degrees in their fields, who teach courses in their area of expertise. Classes are rigorous and discussion/project based, fostering close relationships between students and faculty which are a vital part of the education and growth of our students.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective high school English lessons that focus on preparing students for the rigors of a college degree
- Manage classroom dynamics and create a positive learning environment
- Utilize strong organizational skills to maintain lesson plans and student records
- Provide individualized support to students to enhance their understanding of grammar, improve their ability to write essays, and deepen their understanding of literary devices and literature
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive curriculum and student progress tracking
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practices
