Our busy and client-focused Aldersgate At Home office needs a reliable, energetic, well-organized OPERATIONS SPECIALIST to develop and provide guidance to our Client Care Coordinator team. This position provides services and experiences that enable clients and staff to participate in life-affirming choices including but not limited to these dimensions of wellness: emotional, environmental, intellectual, physical, vocational, social, financial, and spiritual. This position will assist the Operations Manager in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and directing the day-to-day functions regarding staffing needs and compliance; will review/approve caregiver hours worked, attendance, mileage, overtime, and all adjustments in homecare software to process payroll and billing; will work to meet the needs of clients, client family members, caregivers, and departments, as necessary. Qualifications

Must possess and associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or the equivalent of 5 years of home care experience combined with supervisory or management experience. Ability to type and use general office equipment is required. Computer skills required. Must possess a working knowledge of the rules and regulations that govern home care operational standards. NC Driver’s license required with verified three (3) year safe driving record.

Specific Requirements: Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, clients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public. Must possess the ability to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel. Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the facility. Should be familiar with the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing personnel administration. Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition. Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices. Must be able to maintain good personnel relations and employee morale. Must be able to read and interpret financial records, reports, etc. Must be knowledgeable of computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment. Must be able to communicate policies, procedures, regulations, reports, etc., to personnel, clients, family members, visitors, and government agencies/personnel.
