Position Overview

The Power BI Developer and Analyst will assist in designing, developing and maintaining BHL intelligence solutions, crafting and executing queries upon request for data and presenting information through reports and visualizations. The Power BI Developer will be responsible for the development and administration of BI tools and their main duty is to transform raw data into meaningful insights. This will be accomplished through interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports.

Essential Duties

· Partner with business leaders and SMEs to understand reporting and analytics needs for the business. 

· Gather, document, and analyze business reporting requirements. 

· Support internal and external customer data needs. 

· Analyze and clean data through the use of data cleansing Power BI tools and best practices. 

· Develop compelling data visualizations that tell the business story with data.

· Utilize Power BI to extract, clean, transform, report, and publish business data.

· Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

· 3 years' experience with Business Intelligence Analytics and Reporting. 

· 3 years of Power BI experience. 

· 4 years of experience with MSSQL.

· 1 year experience with Python.

· 3 years of experience analyzing data and turning them into meaningful insights. 

· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment. 

· Experience developing and supporting custom BI reports and dashboards. 

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

Education & Credentials

· Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT or equivalent work experience / certifications. 

Work Location & Schedule Requirements

This is primarily a remote position, that will not require daily reporting to an office. Travel to in-person meetings and events is expected at 10% or more for the role. You may be required to attend occasional in-person meetings depending on business needs. Travel may be required by rail, car or plane. The company is headquartered in Atlanta, GA, therefore maintaining a working schedule of hours amenable to EST is required. All employees must be willing to work flexible schedules, including holidays, nights and weekends as dictated by business needs.

Physical Requirements

This job operates primarily in a remote office environment with in-person interaction and meetings required as necessary. Travel required by rail, car or plane required. The position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers – including virtual meeting software and various communications applications and telephones. Bending, lifting, and manipulating objects up to 25 lbs. may be occasionally required. Ability to perform computer work for 8 hours a day in an office setting is required.
