*Summary:**

The Shift Lead at our group home for adolescent boys plays a crucial role in providing a safe, structured, and supportive environment for our residents. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and capable of setting a positive tone in the home. They must possess strong leadership skills to manage a team of three other staff members and oversee the care of 16 young residents.

**Responsibilities:**

• Supervise and support a team of three staff members during each shift.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
• Maintain a positive and respectful environment within the group home.
• Develop and implement daily schedules and activities for residents.
• Lead therapy groups and facilitate constructive discussions.
• Coordinate with external agencies, families, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Provide guidance and support to residents in daily living skills.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident progress and incidents.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of new staff members.

**Qualifications:**

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with adolescents in a residential setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

**Schedule**

Full-time MONDAY FRIDAY 3pm-11pm
