KinderSystems is seeking a Revenue Analyst to join the team. This role’s primary responsibility is to review current and upcoming contracts, as well as our accounts receivables to lead our weekly cash forecasting. This is a highly analytical role on a small Finance team. The team are all hand-on contributors growing our business, so your initiative, organization, and willingness to learn are essential to our success. 

What you’ll do with us 

  • Lead weekly cash forecasting based on existing contracts and forecasted new bookings/sales. 
  • Review client estimates, contracts, and amendments prepared by the Sales department, confirming accuracy and requesting clarification or changes when needed. 
  • Manage milestone/project invoicing and schedules in coordination with the Project Management Department. 
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging lists and communicate with clients for collection purposes as needed. 
  • Review subscriptions and invoices created in NetSuite for new software contracts, implementations, and subscription renewals for several product lines. 
  • Ensure client files, correspondence, and documentation are stored in NetSuite and on the network.
  • Maintain client information (contacts, invoice dates and amounts, products, etc) in NetSuite as well as spreadsheet databases.
  • Respond to requests for information and documentation from internal and external parties. 
  • Support department team members as needed.
  • Prepare reports (contracts, invoices, aging, etc) and participate in month-end close process. 

The ideal Revenue Analyst will have: 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with revenue-related activities in an accounting role, including cash forecasting, contracts and invoicing, and collections 
  • Experience working in NetSuite 
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to create and edit PDF files 
  • Understanding of GAAP 

It’s a plus if you also have: 

  • FP&A experience 
  • ASC 606 experience

  • Thrives in a small company setting, and has as hand-on and roll-up-the-sleeves approach to solving problems 
  • Ability to travel to the corporate office in San Diego, CA quarterly
