About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Customer Community Manager to join our team. If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in building communities from scratch, customer-focused marketing programs, relationships and references, we would like to meet you.
The ideal candidate is a flexible, polished marketer with the ability to act as the face and voice of our brand both internally and externally for all customer-related activities.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and own Eightfold's growing customer community, a global resource where customers come to share their perspectives, learn from peers and learn from Eightfold team members.
- Build relationships with existing Eightfold AI customers and develop advocacy programs that result in external-facing content and community participation.
- Own Eightfold's peer review program which includes nurturing and promoting customer reviews and other forms of advocacy through partnership with external representatives
- Create and manage Eightfold's customer user group. This is a virtual group and will also be an in person program in the future.
- Work with internal sales, services and marketing team members to enlist the support of customers in other customer marketing programs.
- Set and implement marketing and communication campaigns to align with customer success and associated strategies
- Provide engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts
- Respond to community comments and customer queries in a timely manner
- Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
- Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
- Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features
- Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends that may impact the above activities.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years experience in a marketing, sales or advocacy-focused role.
- Hands-on experience managing a reference program and ideally an online community.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven work experience as a community manager
- Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
- Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)
- Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
- Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field
