Job Purpose
The Ecommerce Operations Manager, reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, will be responsible for the management of all Ecommerce tactical duties relating to C&F Enterprises, Inc business. This role will have a direct effect on the growth of the Ecommerce business, as well as having a major impact on its overall digital footprint.
Duties and responsibilities
Create, document, communicate/distribute, enforce and maintain documented best practices with respect to Ecommerce
Manage, training, development and performance of assigned staff
Lead, support and manage operational aspects of C&F Enterprises eCom applications that need enhancement, as well as leading multiple eCommerce projects to deliver new functionality, improved design, and facilitate user experience
Test and think outside the box with existing and new channels -- we invite innovative thinking!
Work closely with digital stakeholders in managing launch and promotional cadence for D2C business
Conduct weekly and monthly reviews of KPIs and digital marketing initiatives. Report findings to the team with plans on where we go next.
Participate in the planning and prioritization of projects to ensure project delivers in a timely matter; stay actively involved in initiating, planning, executing, tracking, monitoring, and closing projects
Review and execute project work plans and supporting documentation and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Lead the development of new functionality to expand market share
Identify and document new web requirements and enhancements to serve new purposes, improve the design, and facilitate user experience
Serve as the liaison between business and information technology discussions by leading internal/external meetings; and coordinate effectively within multiple teams
Collaborate with other IT staff in developing and testing business continuity
Communicate status of assigned projects
Collaborate effectively and persuasively with internal business leaders as well as clients,
Effectively prioritize and re-prioritize, make decisions, and drive projects to closure on time and within budget
Stay up to date on professional knowledge
Exceptional software capabilities, including Excel, Channel Advisor, PIM software (Salsify a plus)
Outside vendors managed effectively (deadlines met, budget not exceeded, quality of delivered work high, etc.)
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Support maintaining a safe working environment and focuses on safe work habits.
Maintain a focus for self and team on continuous learning that will enhance skill sets and growth opportunities.

A Bachelor's degree in Ecommerce or related fields
At least 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field

Demonstrated leadership skills; proven ability to influence cross functional teams
Demonstrated ability to influence desired outcomes through direct and indirect resources
