Sabot Consulting is Hiring a Remote Guidewire Developer - Workers Comp

Guidewire Developer – Workers Comp Location: RemoteSalary: $90-120kSabot Consulting is currently seeking a talented Guidewire Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Guidewire development in either Policy Center v9 or Engage Portal and be proficient in configuring and customizing Guidewire applications to meet business requirements. Industry background in Workers Compensation Insurance will be preferred.Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Guidewire platform.
Design, develop, and implement Guidewire solutions using Guidewire Studio, Gosu, and other related technologies.
Customize Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter modules as per project requirements.
Customize Guidewire Customer Engage or Producer Engage portal to remediate security vulnerabilities.
Integrate Guidewire applications with external systems using web services, APIs, and other integration techniques.
Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Guidewire applications.
Maintain technical documentation and provide support for production deployments.
Primarily working on low grade defects left from the initial project completion.

Must Have:

Experience with Rating engines and processes.
Remediating critical security vulnerabilities with NodeJS code used for the integrations.
Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, Customer or Producer portal development.
Strong knowledge of Guidewire tools such as Guidewire Studio, PCF, Gosu, and Data Model.
Experience with Java/J2EE development and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Familiarity with databases (SQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and integration technologies (XML, SOAP, REST).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have:

Guidewire certification (e.g., Guidewire Certified Developer).
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Knowledge of insurance domain and business processes.
Background in Workers Compensation Industry
