We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Virtual Learning Mentor. The successful candidate will provide academic and emotional support to students in a virtual learning environment. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students while working remotely.
Responsibilities:
Mentor and guide students in their academic pursuits, helping them set and achieve educational goals.
Monitor Credit Recovery Lab throughout the high school day.
Provide one-on-one support for students in a virtual setting, including tutoring, homework help, and academic coaching.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students, addressing any behavior or performance concerns.
Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure students receive the best possible education.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and provide regular reports on student progress.
Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education
Previous experience working with students, either in a classroom or virtual setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and build positive relationships.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and priorities.
Proficient in technology and virtual communication platforms.
Salary Based on the Management Support Manual ($25,500 - $30,000)
