Description
- Provide Programming, SCADA & automation-related technical support to Operations and Maintenance.
- Provide technical support to field operations and engineering teams.
- Participates in AK BU assurance activities, including BU audits and CPO assurance activities.
- Ensure Automation solutions comply with Corporate Standards like PCN Security, Alarm Management, and other relevant industry standards.
- Develop and support a continuous improvement model for Kuparuk and Alpine SCADA systems.
o IP.21 application development.
o HMI development
o Windows client SCADA software development.
o Microsoft Windows server side software development
o Database customization: design, development and upgrades.
- Provide input in the design, implementation, and support of solutions that comply with industry best practice and standards.
- Ensure the reliability and system uptime of critical SCADA systems through proactive monitoring of PCN infrastructure.
Required
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Software development experience using one or more of the following languages:
o C / C / C# / SQL / Python / R
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering results while maintaining a safe environment
Preferred
- Data engineering experience. Ability to manipulate data between various new and existing technologies
- Front-end and back-end application development experience
- Experience with time series data and data analysis
- SCADA, Historian, large database system architecture experience
- Experienced End User Support (in person or remote)
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse technical staff (engineers, field technicians), advance technological direction, and solve problems
- Ability to effectively articulate and present complex concepts and ideas to peers, management, and all levels of users
- Knowledge of CPAI criteria, specifications, and other industry recognized standards including NEC/NFPA, API, and ANSI/ISA
- Familiarity with DOT and ADEC regulations
- 1 years' experience programming and configuring in the AspenTech IP21 SCADA environment
