The Domestic Abuse Project (DAP) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to serving every member of the
family who is impacted by domestic violence. We provide advocacy, case management and therapy services to
those who have experienced or caused harm in their relationships. We are currently seeking a Human Resource
Recruiter contract position. This position would focus on recruiting and filling open DAP positions with highly
driven employees who are aligned with our mission.
The HR Recruiter position would be responsible for coordinating the staffing process for the assigned scope
(position, function, philosophy of practice, licensure level, etc.) in collaboration with the hiring manager(s) to best
understand what is needed within each position and team. This role will be a short-term contract (up to 3
months) with the potential for future contracts with DAP.
J o b r e s p o n s i b i l i t i e s
Manage the candidate pipelines by implementing effective sourcing strategies for open positions, as
assigned.
Effectively program manage recruitment campaigns.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with the hiring manager(s) to understand the business, position
needs and requirements and priorities for each position.
Track candidate process and minimize time to hire through driving the candidate pipeline, in collaboration
with the hiring manager(s) and hiring committee.
Provide weekly updates to hiring manager(s) and senior leadership regarding position status.
D e s i r e d Q u a l i f i c a t i o n s
Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
2-4 years of recruitment/human resources and sourcing job-related experience.
Previous experience recruiting mental health professionals is preferred.
Ability to work with people from diverse racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds
Organized, collaborative, team oriented, growth-mindset, reflective, creative, self-starter, good communication
skills, and capacity to follow through on tasks and responsibilities with minimal oversight
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Personal laptop and access to recruitment tools to fulfill job responsibilities
