We are seeking a skilled YouTube Shorts Editor to join our dynamic content creation team at Korean Englishman. As a YT Shorts editor, you will be responsible for editing and enhancing short-form video content for new media platforms, including YouTube Your role will be instrumental in crafting visually compelling and engaging videos that captivate audiences and drive user engagement.

• Video Editing: Edit short-form video content, including but not limited to promotional videos, teasers, trailers, and social media clips, adhering to brand guidelines and creative direction.

• Creative Storytelling: Collaborate with content creators and producers to develop creative concepts and storytelling techniques that effectively convey messaging and engage the target audience.

• Visual Enhancement: Enhance video quality through color correction, audio adjustments, and visual effects to achieve a polished and professional look.

• Optimization for Platforms: Ensure videos are optimized for specific platforms and devices, considering aspect ratios, resolutions, and video formats for seamless playback and maximum impact.

• Sound Design: Enhance videos with appropriate sound effects, music, and audio mixing to create immersive and engaging experiences for viewers.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure video content meets quality standards, including audio clarity, visual consistency, and overall coherence.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in film production, digital media, or a related field.

• Experience in editing short-form video content for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro) for creating animations and visual effects to enhance video content.

• Understanding of video analytics and performance metrics to optimize video content for engagement and audience retention.

• Knowledge of Korean culture.

• Familiarity with Korean digital content.

• Brief understanding of Korean Englishman’s second channel, JOLLY.

• The ideal candidate has availability and knowledge to work on Korean Englishman and JOLLY, but this is not a requirement.
