The Birch Agency is actively seeking to hire an Virtual/Remote Speech Language Pathologist. This person should have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children in Washington. This position services school-based populations with a primary focus on grades K-8! Full & Part-time positions are available.

What you will do each day:

• Screen new students for Speech/Language disorders
• Evaluate students referred with speech/language disorders to determine degree and severity
• Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities
• Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines
• Attend IEP Meetings
• Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary
• Consult with Teachers
• Work as a part of Special Ed team
• Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech and Communication
• State Licensure/Certification
• ASHA certification
• Experience working managing a caseload of 55 or greater

Desired Qualifications:

• Bilingual Speech Pathologists
• Fluency with American Sign Language
