Engineered Systems is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Specialist

Job Title: Inside Sales Specialist

Date: March 2024

Status: Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Reports to: Interiors Divisional Manager

Environment: Professional Office/ 1 Day Remote After 90 Days Employment

Position summary: This position’s primary responsibility is to assist with sales support for the division’s projects and our key customer relationships. The individual will need to be an excellent communicator and have the organizational skills necessary to manage, track and execute on large scale construction projects where Engineered Systems’ manufacturer products are used. They will work in conjunction with the Divisional Leaders to identify business opportunities by developing new prospects and interacting with new/existing customers. They will be a key member of product divisions for the Ohio & Kentucky markets.

Key responsibilities:

▪ Manage post-order project management and customer service across all Interior & Insulation product lines.

▪ Handle project logistics from purchase order to construction, submittal process, and shipping to ensure a seamless customer experience.

▪ Provide updates on project progress to team, manufacturers, and customers.

▪ Evaluate sales commitments to mitigate risks and ensure profitability for Engineered Systems.

▪ Review project proposals, prioritize based on revenue and profitability goals, and execute sales commitments.

▪ Resolve disputes, track order status, oversee project submittals, and provide crucial sales information to the outside sales team.

This position will be evaluated, in part, based on the following outcomes:

▪ General execution and completion of all responsibilities related to the position, and other responsibilities as assigned.

▪ Feedback from customers, management, and other office employees.

▪ Successfully managed construction projects and positive customer outcomes.

Education and Experience:

▪ Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience.

▪ Three to five years of sales support experience.

▪ Experience with relevant product and industry knowledge.

▪ Experience with project management and customer service, preferred.

▪ Experience with relevant software applications.

Work Environment:

▪ This position works within a professional office environment. Professionalism and discretion are required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, mobile devices.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
