The Principal Scientist will be responsible for creating highly performant data acquisition
and optical control firmware to enable the development and manufacture of this novel analytical instrumentation.
We are looking for a proven technical leader with a track record in bringing laser-based spectrometers

to demanding markets where success requires a complete solution.

Qualification:

The ideal Principal Scientist candidate is an experienced technical leader who will:

hardware and firmware platform for new functionality.

MS required, Ph.D. preferred in Physics, Applied Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.

7 years’ experience in research and development of spectroscopy-based analytical instrumentation; experience in cavity enhanced laser-based techniques preferred.

Knowledge of control theory, including practical experience in control loop design and implementation.

Ability to manage, process, and visualize large amounts of scientific data quickly.

Independently Motivated / Technical Leader.

Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a diverse range of audiences (peers, staff, management, collaborators, etc.) and skill levels (novice to expert).
