Role: Product Owner

Position Location: Pittsburgh or Delaware - preferred, remote is accepted; Hybrid - 3 days per week in office
Ability to work remote: Yes Acceptable time zone(s): EST
Working Hours (Flexible): 8-5pm ( 7-9 am) Flexibility; Preferable because HM is in CA

Travel: Yes - If outside of Pitts and Delaware, to travel to do quarterly planning;

Intended length of Assignment --- 2 mos. remaining on current initiative but the intent is to extend. The whole initiative is 2 years.

POSITION PROFILE:
Describe the role and the key responsibilities in order of which they will be doing day 1 and frequently followed by those they will be doing as the project/work progresses (Specialists can use Beeline job description if the manager needs guidance in elaborating):
Executes on the vision and the definition of the product. Serves as the voice of the client.
Provides guidance to concentrate the agile crew s effort on correct priorities based on business value.
Defines and conveys the vision to the team(s) in order to address client requirements to meet business objectives.
Accountable for the creation of and the integrity of the product backlog. Prioritizes and leads grooming of the product backlog.
Works in partnership with the Scrum Master to ensure items are worked on in accordance with the product backlog. Serves as the primary point of contact for questions from the crew.
Accepts delivery of working product from the agile crew. Reviews and validates agile crew s working product. Socializes the delivery of business value and outcomes of the sprint iteration to various stakeholders.
Leads sprint demos to showcase the crew s development progress, and incorporate valuable feedback from stakeholders.
Conducts PI or quarterly planning to ensure agile crew commits to realistic deliverables, prioritizing effectively to execute on the product vision and realize business value

Experience SAFe Agile certified or equivalent (highly preferred)
